Rawmen, the naked chefs – Still Brewing
What Do We Know So Far?
Who are behind Rawmen?
Developed by the weirdos at ANIMAL games. ANIMAL are also handling publishing, however, they have assistance from TinyBuild Games.
What kind of game will it be?
Rawmen is a game that seeks to answer the age-old question. What if Splatoon was filled with naked chefs flinging food at each other. A pretty standard question that you’ve probably found yourself asking.
Rawmen will be a third-person action party game. The game has a focus on multiplayer entirely, from the looks of it there will be no single-player mode. However, as an online game that will just mean setting up matches from other naked chefs all over the world.
Where will we find it?
Rawmen would be a perfect fit for consoles as well as PC. However, it is currently only confirmed for a PC release. But this doesn’t mean a console port isn’t planned or shouldn’t be expected in the future. The Switch has Splatoon so Rawmen would be a great fit for that crowd, and fill a missing gap for PS4 and Xbox One users.
When can we get it?
No word on when Rawmen will grace players with its bizarre pleasures. Development is well underway for a 2020 release so get your soup ready to boil and your ladles ready to scoop.

Rawmen is a fun and bright looking game with a bizarre sense of humor. What is the developer’s humor like? Well, the whole concept of the game is to select a customizable naked man (complete with pixelated blurring that still leaves the game precariously close to NSFW). And then you and a group of other naked men will take part in various contests, mostly involving flinging soup at each other. The naked men also seem to be able to hide in their soup pots. And slide around to increase their speed. It’s all very reminiscent of Splatoon. But again if you swap out inklings and ink with naked men and soup.
It’s bizarre and bright and most importantly, it looks like a lot of fun. And it seems like a recent update may have given the naked chefs a short loincloth apron instead of the pixelation. Which makes it slightly more family-friendly.
What else is there to say about Rawmen? Except for Soup’s On!

Coffee of choice: I like the sweeter kinds, mixed with chocolate, coconut, caramel etc. but I won’t turn down a flat white or a straight black either.
