Developed by BonusXP, this collaboration with the Dark Crystal franchise seems quite interesting. There are 14 playable characters from the series, and it seems like a lovely strategy game to boot. Fans of the show and tactical RPGs should be excited! This looks like a great time.

7th Sector – Wed, Feb. 5

7th Sector Trailer

7th Sector is an action puzzle game by Sometimes You. This was awarded heavily in 2019 and seems like a hot pickup for the Switch eShop. You take control of numerous characters that have their own branching stories and puzzles, and it is a wild ride down each path. This is definitely one to keep an eye on if you have not played it yet.

KUNAI – Thurs, Feb. 6

KUNAI Trailer

KUNAI is an action platformer made by TurtleBlaze. You take control of Tabby, a killer robot infused with the soul of a mighty warrior. It is up to you to take down the robot menace in this entertaining ninja-themed Metroidvania game.

SEN: Seven Eight Nine – Thurs, Feb. 6

SEN: Seven Eight Nine is a fun, educational puzzle game by Indie Champions. It uses minimalistic designs and is about recognizing patterns in colors, shapes, and numbers. The rules are always taught with zero instruction, giving the player of discovering the rules on their own. If you enjoy puzzles, this looks like quite the interesting one.

The Turing Test – Fri, Feb. 7

The Turing Test Switch Trailer

The Turing Test is a first-person puzzle game by Bulkhead Interactive. You play as Ava Turing, a space engineer, on one of Jupiter’s moons, Europa. This is one of those abstract games where the player is tasked with discovering what is happening around them. The puzzles are challenging and engaging, and this is a welcomed addition to the Switch’s growing eShop library.

EQQO – Fri, Feb. 7

EQQO is a charming adventure game by Parallel Studio. Originally a mobile game, EQQO tasks you with guiding a blind child through puzzles and exploration. It uses a lot of illustrations from the poetry and mythology of its source material, and it seems like a beautiful journey.
