A Hand With Many Fingers – Still Brewing
What do we know so far?
Who are behind A Hand With Many Fingers?
Coincidentally A Hand With Many Fingers isn’t brought to us by many hands. Both development and publishing are courtesy of Colestia. A Hand With Many Fingers will be their 3rd game on Steam, after A Bewitching Revolution and They Came From a Communist Planet. But that doesn’t hold a candle to their itch.io output, with A Hand With Many Fingers marking their 18th release on the site.
What kind of game will it be?
A Hand With Many Fingers is a first-person investigation game. Or maybe a first-person conspiracy simulator would be more appropriate? The game will take place during the cold war and you play as a researcher in an old CIA archive. Going through documents you stumble onto a conspiracy and go from there.
Where will we find it?
As mentioned earlier, the game will be coming to PC on both Steam and itch.io. No plans have been mentioned for a console release at this stage. Based on the developer’s previous output it doesn’t look likely for the future.
When can we get it?
The game is currently scheduled for a 2020 release, Q2 of 2020 to be more specific. But we can’t specify any further than that at this stage. However, the developer’s previous Steam releases were both in 2019 so it seems they are quite prolific.
More info required!
From the information revealed so far A Hand With Many Fingers won’t shy away from the sordid truth behind the Central Intelligence Agency. You will explore the CIA’s murky history of drug smuggling, weapons trafficking, regime change, and assassination. As you uncover more information about the depths of the conspiracy you will slowly build up a case. As well as unwanted attention it seems. With the game slowly building to heights of paranoia as you uncover more and more. The game will also be non-linear so the investigation is up to you. But you will have the conspiracy theorists’ best friend as your ally. That’s right, the trusty old corkboard that you’ll fill up with all sorts of incriminating documents. You’ll also use red twine to link things together, and what could be more satisfying than that classic duo.
From the look of the images revealed so far it seems the game will use a low poly art style. Similar to that of the recent Dreamo. The developer has mentioned taking inspiration from ’70’s and ’80’s conspiracy films. No word yet if you can brew a pot of black coffee as you pour over the documents. But it would fit really well, and you as a player can definitely do it.
We here at Sip Read Repeat hope to bring you a full review when we can. Check back later and keep gaming and drinking (coffee).

Coffee of choice: I like the sweeter kinds, mixed with chocolate, coconut, caramel etc. but I won’t turn down a flat white or a straight black either.
