6 Indie Games Out on Switch This Week
March is trucking along, and we are still getting an influx of indies (Also known as Nindies) on the Nintendo Switch. What do we have in store this week? Well, my name is Jason, and let’s find out in 6 Indie Games Out on Switch This Week!
Mystic Vale – Thurs, March 12
Mystic Vale is an adaptation of the popular and award-winning card game of the same name. Developed by Nomad Games, Mystic Vale is about combining cards in many different ways to create powerful combos. Each turn you can purchase upgrades to your existing cards, making them stronger as the game goes on. The player who scores the most victory points wins! It looks to be a fun time on the go if you do not feel like bringing your deck along.
Neon City Riders – Thurs, March 12
Neon City Riders is an action-adventure game by Mecha Studios and published by Bromio. You play as Rick, a masked vigilante, scouring through Neon City in search of look and upgrades. It is about saving gang members from their evil bosses and uniting the people once again! Come check out this decaying city and help save its people.
Brotherhood United – Thurs, March 12
Brotherhood United is an action platformer by Myoubou and published by Silesia Games. In this game, you are constantly saving and protecting your brothers in the Brotherhood, and no small army can stand in your way. Pick your guns and fight giant bosses in this bizarre action game about fighting for your friends.
Alder’s Blood – Fri, March 13
Alder’s Blood is a tactical strategy game by No Gravity Games. The developers claim it is a little bit XCOM, a little bit Darkest Dungeon, and a whole lot of Bloodborne. That sounds like quite the hype for this indie title. The game is about learning how to strategize well and set up wisely against enemy attacks. You must use your stealth and tactical skills to stop the onslaught of demons and monsters in this wild game. A perfect indie for Friday the 13th.
Syder Reloaded – Fri, March 13
Syder Reloaded is an action arcade game by Studio Evil. This is an oldschool experience for those who love arcade shooters! Syder is a side-scrolling hybrid shoot-em-up. This Reloaded version is a remaster of the original title, Syder Arcade, which released in 2012. You follow Captain Reyes and his team as they take on the space pirates threatening their ways. Help them to stop the menace before it’s too late!
Stela – Fri, March 13
Stela is a cinematic puzzle platformer by Skybox Labs. It is currently only listed on the US Nintendo site, but I wouldn’t doubt if Stela still pops up on the others upon its release. If it doesn’t, please check out how you can set up an American account if you don’t have one already. Stela looks to be a fascinating experience in a similar vein to games like GRIS, so if you are looking for an emotional roller coaster, look no further.
US – $19.99
